Practice Manager – Specialist Dental Practice

An established and respected specialist practice, dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and cutting-edge treatments, is seeking an experienced Practice Manager. This practice prides itself on a collaborative team environment and is looking for a skilled individual to lead its dedicated team.

This is a permanent position, offering 30-38 hours per week across a minimum of 4 days (Monday to Friday). An ideal start date would be July 1st, 2025, though this can be flexible for the right candidate.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Principal, the Practice Manager will be integral to the smooth and efficient operation of the specialist practice. This role offers a dynamic and varied workday, with key responsibilities including:

Managing all aspects of HR for the valued staff, including recruitment, onboarding, performance guidance, and fostering a positive and supportive team culture.

For candidates with sufficient experience, responsibilities will encompass payroll processing, superannuation contributions, BAS preparation, payroll tax lodgements, KPI tracking, and comprehensive end-of-month financial reporting.

Developing and managing staff rosters, including arranging cover for leave.

Overseeing elements of surgical treatment organisation and patient pathways.

Proactively managing the practice’s business requirements, such as organising team attendance at relevant courses and ensuring ongoing compliance.

Leading reception operations, which will include providing some reception cover as needed.

Professionally managing and resolving patient complaints or concerns.

Coordinating practice maintenance, IT, and equipment repairs to ensure optimal functionality.

Providing clear direction and support to the experienced leadership team and the wider practice staff.
