We have more than 124,000 members who are songwriters, composers and music publishers. We license organisations to play, perform, copy or record our members’ music, and we distribute the royalties to our members.

The International Payments team plays a critical role in ensuring our ongoing success in member retention, through delivering exceptional data processing services in the form of accurately matched records, delivered in the shortest possible timeframe once received. We are responsible for ensuring integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of APRA AMCOS’s royalty payments to members, affiliate societies and other partner organisations.

We are seeking an International Payments Data Analyst to ensure both the reconciliation and processing functions of the team are supported through analysis of distribution data, revision of workflows and processes, and delivery of enhanced reporting relating to the team’s progress and overall performance.

Support management with data handling strategies for accuracy and efficiency.

Perform off-system data manipulation and develop tools to automate manual tasks.

Review and improve existing processes regularly.

Create sales orders/invoices and liaise with Finance and affiliate societies on payments and data issues.

Assist with member queries, ad-hoc analysis, and peak-period processing.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

Strong knowledge of APRA AMCOS systems (IDAP, CMS, AREV, GRID) and CISAC data formats (CRD, E/F/M).

Skilled in data analysis and modelling using large datasets.

Proficient in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and basic scripting (Python/Java). Familiarity with the Snowflake data platform desirable.

Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Advanced analytical, numerical, and decision-making abilities.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Understanding of bookkeeping, tax regulations, and invoicing systems.

Solid grasp of international distribution rules and practices.

What You'll Love:

Our friendly and collaborative work environment. Our team thrives on our values of collaboration, respect, skill, imagination, and accountability.
