About the Role
As a Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining regular and ad hoc reports that support strategic decision-making across the business. You will analyse data to identify key trends, uncover opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders. The role also involves collaborating across teams to ensure timely and accurate data reporting while enhancing the business’s overall reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scheduled and ad hoc reports to support business and operational strategy
• Interpret complex data sets to uncover insights and inform decision-making
• Use AI and automation techniques to streamline and enhance reporting processes
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful data solutions
• Present findings and insights through dashboards, visualisations, and storytelling
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data governance and reporting frameworks

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a data analytics role within the financial services sector
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns and generate insights from complex data
• Demonstrated experience using Power BI or other data visualisation tools
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with hands-on experience in programming languages such as SQL, VBA, and Python
• Familiarity with AI/machine learning techniques to support automated reporting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms is highly desirable
• Experience with data storytelling and visual communication of insights
