The Role: Office Manager

Our client is currently looking for an experienced Office Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The role will provide office management support by way of managing administrative functions across their two offices.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive office support to management across the businesses two offices, overseeing all administrative functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Manage and maintain the Heavy Vehicle Accreditation process, ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are up to date and audit-ready.
  • Support HR and recruitment activities, including onboarding, mobilisation to greenlight status, and providing administrative assistance across key workforce processes.
  • Work closely with Operations and Area Managers, offering administrative support and assistance to help deliver business outcomes across both sites.
  • Administer and streamline the Fuel Tax Credit process, including maintaining accurate fuel usage data, registers, and monthly reporting to external partners.
  • Maintain and improve internal systems and registers, including insurance, permits, licensing, asset maintenance (MEX), and safety data, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Drive process improvement across all responsibilities, with a strong focus on efficiency, stakeholder experience, and supporting the company’s long-term goals, including ISO certification readiness.

Key skills and qualifications required:

  • Current Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Previous experience working in an office manager / coordinator position.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels.
  • Motivated with a desire to succeed.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Effectively use MS Suite of programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with MYOB and Project manager would be an advantage.
