About the role

Lindisfarne Medical Group, a private General Practice located in Mount Lawley WA 6050, is seeking an experienced and proactive Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy medical practice. As our Office Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our clinic and providing exceptional patient care.

What you'll be doing

Managing all administrative functions, including staffing, scheduling, supplies, and inventory control

Overseeing the coordination of patient appointments, ensuring efficient workflow and minimising wait times

Supervising and training administrative staff to maintain high standards of customer service

Liaison with IT support to provide technical assistance to all staff

Batching Medicare claims and overseeing billing operations

Implementing and monitoring office policies and procedures to optimise operational efficiency

Liaising with medical professionals, healthcare providers, and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration

Analysing and reporting on key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement

Ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and industry standards

What we're looking for

A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar office management or administrative role, preferably within the healthcare industry

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with patients, staff, and other stakeholders

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), Best practice and Pracsoft Software, or similar medical practice management systems, and MYOB (or similar accounting system desirable)

Thorough understanding of healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures

A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
