Quantum Comms, a nationally operating company specialising in Rigging, Civils, EWP, Plant Hire, and Communications Infrastructure is on the lookout for a FIFO Project Coordinator / Scheduler to support our remote construction and communications teams across Australia.

Duties:

Project Coordination:

· Provide support for daily operations, scheduling, and tracking milestones.

· Coordinate site activities including subcontractors, materials delivery, and plant allocation.

· Maintain project records, including reports, permits, timesheets, and daily logs.

· Assist with WHS compliance, toolbox talks, and pre-start meetings.

· Communicate between site, head office, and clients to ensure clear, up-to-date information flow.

Roster Management:

· Manage rosters for EWP operators and subcontractors across multiple sites.

· Ensure shift coverage aligns with fatigue management and operational needs.

· Track attendance, manage leave requests, and adjust schedules proactively.

· Coordinate flights, accommodation, and induction logistics for FIFO workers.

· Liaise with payroll, HR, and supervisors to support workforce planning.

Skills and Experience:

· Previous FIFO experience in a coordination or scheduling role. (Preferred but not mandatory)

· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

· Must be experienced with MS Excel and familiar with rostering systems, Sharepoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Adobe and the Microsoft Suite.

· Knowledge of WHS and industrial compliance in a remote or construction setting.
