�� 1-Month Temp Opportunity: Scheduling Coordinator – Aged Care & Disability Support
�� Location: Hurstville or Blacktown | �� Full-time, Temporary (1 month, may be extended)
Our client is a home care package provider dedicated to empowering people to live fulfilling and independent lives. We deliver flexible and high-quality support services across aged care and disability, and we're on the lookout for a dynamic Scheduling Coordinator to join our team for a one-month temporary assignment that may be extended depending on the calibre of the successful applicant.
If you’re an organised, solutions-focused individual with a knack for rostering and juggling competing priorities, this is your chance to step into a fast-paced role where your work truly matters.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Creating and managing rosters to ensure efficient support worker allocation.
- Responding swiftly to changes in staff availability and urgent scheduling needs.
- Ensuring compliance with SCHADS Award conditions (e.g., hours, breaks, shift types).
- Forecasting workforce needs based on referrals and service demand.
- Communicating roster changes clearly to staff and clients.
- Maintaining up-to-date information in rostering systems such as AlayaCare.
- Collaborating with internal teams to support staff wellbeing and service continuity.
- Producing reports on rostering efficiency and workforce utilisation.
What We’re Looking For: ✅ Proven experience in rostering, scheduling, or workforce coordination.
✅ Solid understanding of SCHADS Award conditions.
✅ Experience using AlayaCare so the training period is quicker and smoother for all!
.✅ Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve on the fly.
✅ High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
✅ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Bonus points if you’ve worked in the aged care, disability, or not-for-profit space!
