About The Opportunity

This on-site position offers a rewarding chance to deliver top-tier business services and tax compliance support while gaining hands-on experience in business advisory. You will report directly to the Principal and play a pivotal role in the firm's client engagements. Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and lodging BAS, IAS, and FBT returns with precision

Investigating complex tax and compliance issues and liaising with the ATO

Reviewing and refining client bookkeeping and payroll records for accuracy

Assisting in delivering strategic business advisory and financial planning services

Crafting insightful management reports and supporting business plan development

Building meaningful client relationships through direct engagement via email, phone, and meetings

Preparing detailed financial statements and tax returns across a variety of entities, including individuals, companies, trusts, SMSFs, and partnerships

About You

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, and HandiSoft

A completed tertiary qualification in Accounting

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

A proactive, collaborative mindset with a hunger for growth

Meticulous attention to detail and a talent for problem-solving

4+ years of hands-on local experience in business services and taxation

CA or CPA accreditation (or active pursuit thereof)
