About the Role
As the Memberships & Engagement Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in growing, connecting, and supporting our vibrant member community. You’ll be the first point of contact for members, someone who listens actively, builds trusted relationships, and ensures our members feel valued and engaged at every step.
Working closely with the Executive Director, Communications, and Industry Partnership teams, you’ll coordinate communications, manage our CRM, support strategic engagement campaigns, and help deliver events that bring our members together.

Key Focus Areas
Be the friendly and knowledgeable first point of contact for member inquiries and onboarding
Manage member records and engagement tracking using CRM systems (Borealis or similar)
Coordinate membership communications including newsletters, updates, and campaigns
Support the design and delivery of membership-related events and webinars
Identify opportunities to grow and retain membership by building strong, authentic relationships
Contribute to strategic engagement initiatives that align with AUSMASA’s broader goals
About You
You are a people person, someone who listens deeply, communicates clearly, and thrives in a front-facing role. You’re tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and understand how to create meaningful engagement through systems, storytelling, and shared experiences.
You bring:
Experience in a member-facing, stakeholder engagement, or community-building role
Strong relationship management and interpersonal communication skills
A proactive, intuitive, and solutions-focused approach
Confidence using CRM systems and digital communications platforms
Excellent organisational and coordination skills—especially in fast-paced environments
A genuine passion for creating positive member experiences and connection
