About us:
The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health and Wellbeing Directorate is an essential element of Central Queensland Health (CQ Health). The Directorate provides cultural expert advice and leads the delivery of health equity initiatives, culturally responsive health services and workforce enhancement strategies to achieve optimal access, experience, and outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
About the role:
In addition to providing strategic and systems level advice, the Manager Health Equity and Programs will work collaboratively with the Executive Director Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health and Wellbeing, and various leaders across the Hospital and Health Service, to design, develop and implement CQ Health First Nations Health Equity strategy and programs regarding First Nations Health Services.
About you:
While there are no mandatory qualifications, a relevant tertiary or Post Graduate qualification in Business or Health equivalent, would be highly regarded to fulfil the responsibilities of the role.
- It is preferred that the successful candidate will have significant experience working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health setting or in comparable roles within the Public Sector.
What we offer:
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $15,182 p.m. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $76.10 - $80.53 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
