This role combines deep technical expertise in D365 with light leadership of a small team responsible for delivering enhancements, resolving platform issues, and supporting day-to-day business system needs.

The Business Systems Lead plays a critical role in ensuring D365 F&O and other business-critical platforms are stable, scalable, and aligned with operational goals.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

Technical Ownership – Dynamics 365 (70%)

• Act as internal SME for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (Finance, Warehousing, Logistics, Procurement, etc.)
• Own configuration, administration, and functional optimisation of D365 F&O
• Manage D365 environments (sandbox, UAT, production), coordinating releases and deployments

Team Leadership & Process Management (30%)

• Provide day-to-day support, coaching, and guidance to the Technical Business Analyst and IT Business Support Analyst
• Lead backlog prioritisation and sprint planning for business systems initiatives
• Establish and enforce best practices around documentation, change control, and testing

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Partner with business stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Customer Care, and Supply Chain to capture requirements and deliver platform improvements
• Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to maintain secure, scalable system integrations
• Coordinate change management activities with IT Support and broader tech teams

Skills & Experience:

Essential

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
• Functional knowledge of key D365 modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Warehousing, etc.)
• Strong capability in system administration, configuration, and process troubleshooting

Desirable

• Exposure to D365 CRM (Customer Service, Sales)
• Familiarity with ecommerce or manufacturing workflows
• Experience working in lean, fast-paced, high-autonomy environments
• Understanding of integration architecture involving Azure, Shopify, or other enterprise systems
