Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Systems Analyst to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in analysing, improving, and maintaining the organisation's information systems to support strategic objectives and operational efficiency. This role bridges the gap between technology and business, ensuring our systems deliver value and scalability as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities

Work with users to identify and document business requirements, ensuring that system and business needs are clearly understood and recorded.

Analyse and evaluate existing business processes, procedures, and work practices, identifying areas for improvement and increased efficiency.

Identify and assess inefficiencies in systems and operations, and recommend enhancements in business practices, system functionality, and overall system behaviour.

Apply project management methodologies and techniques to plan, resource, cost, and manage system development and implementation projects.

Deploy functional solutions, including the development and execution of system test plans, to ensure that software and systems meet quality and integrity standards.

Prepare user manuals and training materials, and conduct formal training sessions to ensure effective user adoption and understanding of systems.

Develop functional specifications and requirements documents to guide the work of software developers and technical teams.

Use data and process modelling tools and techniques to develop clear and comprehensive system specifications for software design and development.

Serve as a central point of contact for system-related information, providing guidance and support during system development, deployment, and decision-making processes.

Collaborate with users, software developers, and technical teams to enhance the functionality of websites, applications, and business systems.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or a related field.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a systems analysis or IT business process role.

Strong knowledge of business systems, process mapping, and data integration.

Experience in gathering requirements, documentation, and end-user support.

Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting or inventory software is advantageous.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.
