Salary $100-120,000 PA (depending on experience) + 40% OTE

Terrapinn Australia is growing, and we are building an industry leading portfolio of exhibitions across the education, transport, energy, hotel and accommodation and technology sectors. Our events include EDUtech, NoVacancy, Solar and Storage Live, Installer Live, Highways AU and Mobility Live, Tech in Gov and the Vet Expo.
The job
We are recruiting two people to join our business development team to sell sponsorship and exhibition space in our North Sydney based office.
The kind of person we’re looking for should be ambitious, articulate, and able to write (as well as obviously being able to sell). You will need to use your own initiative to source your own data as well as help input into our marketing campaigns drive inbound sales leads. You will need to be presentable and confident enough to take a meeting with Tier 1 firms, consultant or other large service provider on your own. The right candidate will be comfortable, calm and tenacious in a face-to-face meeting.
The person
To be considered for this position you will be:
A graduate with a 2:1 or a 1st degree
Have excellent communications skills (written & verbal) as you will be on the phone a lot and writing plenty of business emails.
Be organised and have really good time management skills
Be a collaborative and positive team player
Have creative and innovative business ideas
As you will be working on a big event you need resilience, commitment, motivation and determination to keep going
Be capable of working to deadlines and targets
2+ years experience in a B2B media sales environment
