As industrial sectors continue to embrace evolving industry standards and digital transformation, the organisation is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to drive new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with industrial clients.
About The Role
As Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and promoting a portfolio of machinery, automation, and technical solutions. Working closely with technical and engineering teams, you’ll deliver tailored proposals that address client needs and industry trends.
Key responsibilities will include:
Identifying and converting new business opportunities within manufacturing, construction, and industrial sectors
Managing and expanding relationships with existing clients, distributors, and referral networks
Collaborating with internal technical teams to develop customised solutions and proposals
Attending industry events, trade shows, and site visits to represent the brand and generate leads
Maintaining CRM records and reporting on pipeline activity and sales performance
About You
As the successful candidate for this role, you will be a driven, relationship-focused sales professional with experience in technical or solution-based selling. Ideally, you have worked in industrial machinery, manufacturing, engineering, or a related technical sector. You excel at building trust, understanding client needs, and delivering results.
Additionally, you will bring:
Proven success in B2B sales, business development, or account management in a technical/industrial environment
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes or genuine interest in industrial technology
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-motivation, organisation, and the ability to manage a sales pipeline and meet targets
Confidence to work autonomously while collaborating across teams
Salary & Benefits
$95,000 to $120,000 + Super + Car Allowance + Commissions
