The Opportunity:
As the Head of Performance Media at First Page, you will lead a high-performing team, driving the execution of data-driven and highly creative paid media strategies for some of Australia’s biggest brands.
You'll collaborate with a global network of marketing experts, ensuring excellence in campaign execution, team performance, and client satisfaction. You will be joining a specialised performance media agency that employs some of the best marketing minds globally. The collaboration and knowledge sharing between our talented team members are exceptional.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Performance Media Specialists, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are consistently met.
Develop and execute innovative paid search and paid social strategies that drive leads, sales, and measurable results for major Australian and global brands.
Get hands-on with campaign execution — no matter the size of the client, you’ll be in the trenches with your team.
Run fortnightly training sessions to continuously upskill and develop the Paid Search team.
Identify areas for improvement and roll out timely, effective strategies.
Manage workloads, assign tasks, and ensure team members’ strengths are used to their full potential.
Support sales efforts with data, strategy, and participation in in-person meetings.
Be client-facing — present data, insights, and strategies in a clear, confident, and educated manner.
Create and refine workflow briefs to improve department processes and efficiency.
Report weekly on team KPIs and goals to the General Manager.
What We Need:
Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in paid search, with at least 1 year managing a team.
Digital agency experience is essential — you know the pace and demands of agency life.
Extensive knowledge of Google Ads, Google Shopping, Display, and eCommerce campaigns.
A proactive, hands-on leader who balances strategy and execution seamlessly.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — comfortable leading client conversations and supporting sales teams.
