The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Search Media Manager to join our dynamic Melbourne team. In this role, you will report directly to our Director of Search / SEO and Performance Media and collaborate with a team of four search and SEO professionals to service and grow our client base. You will be instrumental in developing and executing advanced search strategies that drive client success across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop, implement, and optimise SEM campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and Microsoft/Bing Ads.

· Manage large-scale media budgets across paid search platforms, ensuring optimal spend and high-performance delivery.

· Provide forecasting, performance projections, and post-campaign reporting to clients with strategic recommendations.

· Optimise product feeds (e.g., for Google Shopping or Performance Max campaigns) to support eCommerce and retail client goals.

· Collaborate closely with clients, including face-to-face consultations, to understand their business needs and deliver tailored, results-driven solutions.

· Support and collaborate with a team of search and SEO specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

· Leverage analytics tools to monitor campaign performance and generate actionable insights.

· Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our strategies remain cutting-edge and innovative.

About You

· Minimum 5 years' experience in search engine marketing, with a strong record of managing successful campaigns across diverse industries.

· Strong proficiency in SEM platforms and tools, including Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, and bid management platforms.

· Experience managing significant paid media budgets with a focus on ROI and scalability.

· Familiarity with product feed optimisation and campaign structuring for retail or eCommerce is advantageous.

· Certifications in Google Ads or Microsoft Advertising are highly regarded.

· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term partnerships with clients.

· Demonstrated maturity and drive as a high-performing team player in fast-paced agency environments.

· Analytical mindset with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making and campaign optimisation.
