The Company:
Our client is a leading engineering contractor who has been specialising for over 25 years in a comprehensive and unique range of ground engineering solutions including ground anchoring, slope stabilisation, shotcrete, architectural shotcrete, retention & foundation piling, specialist civils contracting and ground improvement.
Our client has an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator / Administrator to join their Brisbane team.
You’ll be reporting directly into the Operations Manager and the Project Management team. The primary responsibility for this role will be to support the projects team.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Daily scheduling and allocations of workers across various sites - this includes internal workers, labour hire workers and subcontractor trades.
- Administrative duties to assist operations team.
- Chasing internal time sheets from workers - this can be challenging.
- Site visits - Visiting internal workers on site and checking if things are going good and if they need any additional PPE or support. This includes gaining project updates for the operations team including delays etc
- Attending various meetings for tenders and projects from a resourcing perspective.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a Project Coordinator / Administrator or very similar role.
- Cert IV in Project Management or Diploma in Project Management or Similar - Desired but not essential
- Essential experience in scopes - Civil Construction, Ground Engineering, Piling
- Essential experience in scheduling and allocations of multiple workers and trades (Up to 80 workers at a peak)
- Essential experience in chasing time sheets
- Confidence with working with Operations Management and Project Management
- Full Australian working rights - No VISA Sponsorship available
