We are seeking a dynamic and highly capable Principal Administration and Project Coordinator to play a pivotal role in delivering strategic and operational support across The University of Queensland's Human Resources function.

You'll lead divisional planning activities, support executive operations, and ensure seamless coordination of finance, governance, and stakeholder engagement processes. Key responsibilities will include:
- Anticipate, coordinate and manage administrative, business and project requirements that support the strategic and operational functions of the HR Division.
- Provide high-level support to the HR Executive and Functional Leadership Teams, including coordination of meetings, providing policy and planning advice, executive-level governance support, preparation of documentation, and facilitation of divisional activities.
- Oversee key operational processes including budget monitoring, procurement, asset management, and internal communications across the Division.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to support project delivery, governance requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You
- Possess a relevant degree with substantial administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional expertise
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks effectively, and deliver high-quality outcomes within tight timeframes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders at all levels
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn and apply new administrative systems and processes
- Experience in coordinating projects, supporting executive-level governance, and managing complex scheduling and event logistics
- High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach to administrative challenges
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including right to work in Australia and a criminal check.
