About the role:

We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financials. The position will be based in Wangaratta and will require the successful candidate to work in the office 2 days per week. We provide flexible working hours and a great rate of pay which will be negotiable depending on experience.

The position will likely grow with the business and in time may require up to 3-4 days per week. We can provide professional training and guidance in all of the below areas!

Responsibilities:

Weekly Payroll

Maintain accurate financial records using MYOB.

Process invoices, receipts, and payments

Reconcile bank and credit card statements

Prepare basic financial reports and summaries

BAS preparation

Process superannuation

Tax withholding

Payroll tax - Monthly

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role

Familiarity with accounting software (MYOB)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Knowledge of accounting principles

Preferred:

Experience with small business bookkeeping

Qualified BAS agent
