We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for the daily Finance operations and Administration assistance of our company and provide some light Executive Assistant support to the CEO. The position reports to the CEO and is supported by the Financial Analyst who is responsible for the integrated financial modelling for the company.

This position includes responsibilities that sit within the Bookkeeping, Accounting and EA roles. It requires a flexible, proactive individual who works well under deadlines and can prioritise competing financial tasks. The role requires lightweight direction of the US payroll (which is managed by a US accounting firm) and general support of our one-man USA subsidiary. The role is work from home with the occasional face to face meeting required. We are flexible with when hours are delivered but have an expectation that the successful applicant will be available 5 business days a week. With the anticipated growth of the business in the next 18 months, the opportunity for the workload to grow would be available should the successful candidate want to take on a larger role at that time.

This is a hands-on position that requires a broad range of skills from entering and managing accounts payable functions through to assisting with tax compliance, payroll and handling all admin for overseas subsidiaries. It needs someone comfortable working at the detail of individual transactions and can work independently to meet deadlines. The role would suit someone wanting to work from home, in a part-time position and who has at least 5 years of post-qualification bookkeeping or accounting experience.
