Bookkeeper in a manufacturing and export sales environment/Contract, Part Time 2 to 3 days per week

Key tasks Include:

• Monitor Accounts Payable Ageing Summary report and prepare EFT/Cheque payment run weekly, fortnightly and monthly.
• Reconcile Accounts Payable monthly according to the statements provided by suppliers.
• Filing of invoices and supporting documents attached
• Monthly reconciliation of all Supplier statements
• Maintain Supplier files to always ensure up to date details.
• Complete and setup supplier Credit applications as they arise.

Maintenance of Accounts Receivable:

• Allocate customer payments daily
• Prepare Bank Reconciliation Monthly
• Assist customer service in raising sales invoices if necessary.
• Banking if required.
• Reconcile Accounts Receivable monthly
• Filing bank statements, deposit slips etc

Payroll Preparation

• Preparation of the fortnightly payroll and reconciling payroll related accounts monthly

Other duties

• Month-end reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and bank reconciliation
• Reconciling year-end accounts and assisting company accountant on preparing of financial statements
• Assisting in preparation of yearly budgets and forecasts
• Assist in the preparation of Quarterly BAS, Monthly IAS, Quarterly Super
• Assisting CFO on company income tax return preparation
• Assisting in data analysis and other ad-hoc analytical duties required by production manager, CFO and board of directors.
• Entering product builds, creating sales invoices only if required, and monitoring inventory within the finance system
• Match Delivery Dockets to relating Tax Invoices.
• Reconcile Beekeepers accounts
• Maintain RCTI register and Raw Materials Incoming Goods Registers
• Develop and maintain accurate product costings /valuations in conjunction with the Works Manager and CFO
