Named after Monsignor Sean O’Shea, a beloved local priest who once lived on Rottnest Island, the pub brings a warm slice of Irish hospitality to Fremantle’s lively portside scene.

What we need from you:

As the Assistant Venue Manager at Mons. O'Shea, you will team up with the owners and be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our lively bar and restaurant. From managing staff and ensuring smooth service to juggling suppliers and stock levels, you’ll ensure that everything runs efficiently while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your role will involve balancing operational tasks with leadership, ensuring customers leave satisfied and returning for more.

Experience: Proven experience in related management role is preferred

A passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive environment.

Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills.

You will need to be both teachable and confident; someone who will lead by example with a very hands-on approach and use your beverage knowledge to coach and develop our talented Team.

Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of venue operations, including inventory control, budgets, customer service, and safety protocols

Work Ethic: Ability to work long hours and handle a fast-paced environment with professionalism. Must be available to work weekends and public holidays

People Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to foster a positive and productive work environment

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent - RSA, Approved Managers, First Aid and Food Handler Certificates are required prior to starting.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as kegs or bar equipment

Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
