Aussie Pacific is a renowned wholesale uniform company in AUS/NZ committed to delivering top-quality apparel and exceptional service to clients across various industries. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our team.
What is expected:
The primary objective of the role is to analyze, optimize and support inventory management systems and related process. The role bridges the gap between supply chain and operations, working closely with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, and implement technology solutions that enhance inventory accuracy visibility and efficiency.
Specifically, you will:
Produce reports, analyses, and visualizations using numerous data sources in the business.
Identifying process automation opportunities and working with business to implement the changes.
Manage intake requests for process/data changes.
Conducting data cleaning, transformation, and analysis using statistical methods and tools.
Creating documentation of new products and features
Mapping and maintaining core HR, IT, Finance and Inventory process
Developing and leading the implementation of an inhouse HR, Inventory, Production & IT process training plan.
Using project management methodologies, principles and techniques to develop project plans and to cost, resource and manage projects
Creating user and training documentation and conducting formal training sessions.
Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance and identify areas for improvement.
Keeping stakeholders informed on upcoming changes.
What are we looking for?
Experience
· Bachelor's in Information Technology
· 2 years+ experience in shipping or logistics administration, preferably within the apparel or retail industry.
Skills & competencies
Familiarity with shipping regulations & INCOTERMS, customs requirements, and documentation standards.
Proficient in shipping management software and tools.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders, including warehouse team, logistics partners, and customers.
Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to resolve shipping-related issues efficiently.
Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes.
Experience in negotiating with carriers and optimizing shipping costs is a plus.
