About the Role
Moda Engineering is seeking a highly organised and experienced Office Manager to lead the administrative and operational functions of our Perth head office. This role is integral to the daily coordination of office activities, compliance, HR support, and executive assistance, ensuring smooth internal processes and strong external stakeholder engagement.
This opportunity is ideal for a professional with a proven track record in office management, team coordination, and compliance within engineering or technical environments.
Key Responsibilities
Contributing to the planning and review of office services by setting priorities and service standards to ensure the smooth running of operations.
Allocating human resources, office space, and equipment effectively to support business needs and project demands.
Assigning tasks and monitoring the performance of staff to ensure operational targets and quality standards are met.
Managing company records, quality control, accounts, and documentation to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Liaising with professionals, clients, and stakeholders to coordinate office business and facilitate the resolution of any operational issues.
Ensuring the maintenance of office equipment and the procurement of supplies to support daily activities.
Overseeing compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
Supporting marketing and business development activities, including social media communications;
Ensuring all office activities comply with relevant government legislation, policies, and procedures.
Coordinating personnel activities including recruitment, onboarding, promotions, performance management, payroll assistance, training, and staff supervision.
Organising and attending meetings, conferences, and company events.
Performing internal auditing duties to ensure adherence to internal controls and continuous improvement of office processes in alignment with ISO:9001.
Requirements for the Role
A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Business Administration or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 2 years' experience in an operational or leadership role.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
High level of written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant business systems.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
Experience within engineering, construction, or mining services sectors;
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 45001 standards;
Previous experience supporting Directors or senior management.
