Are you a proactive, highly organised professional with a knack for managing people, processes, and systems?
We're looking for an experienced Office Manager to take charge of daily operations, payroll, HR coordination, and IT systems in a fast-paced and supportive work environment.

About the Role

This is a full-time position offering a dynamic and varied workload.
You will be the go-to person for ensuring the smooth running of the office and overseeing key operational functions including payroll, HR support, and liaising with external IT providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day office operations to ensure efficiency and organisation
• Process and manage end-to-end payroll for all staff
• Interpret and apply relevant awards in the hospitality and building sectors
• Onboard new staff via Tanda and maintain employee records
• Liaise with our HR advisory team on HR-related matters
• Advise management on HR issues and staff matters
• Coordinate IT systems and support, including liaising with service providers and troubleshooting issues
• Provide general administrative support and complete ad hoc tasks as required
• Assist with accounts payable and basic bookkeeping tasks
• Maintain office systems, supplies, and vendor relationships

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in an Office Manager role or similar
• Strong understanding of payroll processes and HR compliance, including award interpretation
• Demonstrated experience with staff onboarding and using platforms like Tanda
• High proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office

• Strong understanding of Payroll
• Confidence in managing basic IT coordination and external tech support
• Excellent time management, organisational, and multitasking skills
• Strong communication and leadership qualities
