About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity available for a bubbly, professional, and customer-focused Veterinary Receptionist/ Customer Care Consultant to join our team. This role would suit someone with a strong background in customer service, exceptional communication skills, and a genuine love for animals and their people.

Located in a beautiful northern coastal suburb of Brisbane, our privately owned, family-sized small animal clinic prides itself on our close-knit community, where pets are truly part of the family.
We’re a friendly team of dedicated vets and animal lovers, committed to providing the best care and experience for every pet who walks through our doors. We’re on the lookout for someone who enjoys being the warm, welcoming face of our clinic, while keeping everything running smoothly from reception to the consult room and beyond.
Key responsibilities include:
· Delivering outstanding customer care — in person and over the phone
· Managing the day-to-day- operations of the clinic including reception administration, appointment bookings, maintaining client records, following up lab results, cash handling, stock management, assisting with rostering and clinic workflow with precision and a positive attitude
· Liaising between clients and the clinical team
· Maintaining clean, tidy, well-stocked reception and consult spaces
Driving our business forward through creating and implementing local marketing initiatives
Helping to lead and develop our team and building a positive team culture
Our ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in veterinary clinical environment.
Certificate IV in Vet Nursing will be highly regarded but not mandatory.
· A friendly, warm, and approachable personality
· A professional phone manner and excellent interpersonal skills
· Strong written and verbal communication
· Proven customer service experience with a client-focused, team-oriented approach
· High-level computer, administrative skills and problem-solving skills.
· The ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
· A can-do attitude with an eye for detail and a willingness to go the extra mile
What we offer:
You’ll be joining a supportive, passionate, and down-to-earth team initially working around 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday — with no weekends!
