About the role

Eastside Health on Mary is seeking a friendly and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis in our Toowoomba, Queensland location. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our medical practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients, and assisting them with all enquiries

Scheduling and managing patient appointments in a timely manner

Handling telephone calls, emails and other communications professionally

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and files

Assisting with the daily administrative tasks of the medical practice

Providing exceptional customer service to our patients at all times

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to empathise with patients

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Proficiency in using medical software and computer systems

A warm, friendly and professional demeanour

A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality
