Lead Receptionist - Nerang Psychology Clinic

About the Role
Work Nerang reception desk whilst providing leadership and support to the admin and clinical team based at the Nerang clinic
Part-time position (flexible part-time hours across 5 days - 30 hours per week)
This role involves working the Reception desk and completing associated office administration duties, overseeing the practice's daily functions, providing leadership to the reception team, and ensuring smooth workflow.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, accountability, and initiative in their role.
Responsibilities
✔️ Perform the admin/reception role as the clinic's Lead Receptionist whilst providing leadership and support to the admin and clinical team based at Nerang
✔️ Manage appointment schedules and liaise with psychologists and clients
✔️ Handle complex reception tasks, including Medicare & NDIS billing, accounts & EOD banking
✔️ Assist with training and mentoring junior staff
✔️ Troubleshoot operational issues and step in for the Practice Manager when needed
✔️ Maintain confidentiality and compliance with clinic policies and industry regulations

About You
Previous experience in reception, psychology, or allied health is highly regarded
Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and mentor a team
Excellent customer service and communication skills
A keen eye for detail and strong organisational abilities
Proficiency in practice management software (experience with Zanda (formerly known as Power Diary) is a plus!)
Ability to handle multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure
