About the role

Join the Transperth Train Operations (TTO) Security Services Branch in a key support role that ensures the efficient operation of our Transit Office Equipment Store. This position is responsible for the secure storage, tracking, and management of equipment used by Transit Officers, including radios, hardware, and vehicle keys. You will play a hands-on role in maintaining adequate stock levels, conducting regular audits, issuing and receiving equipment before and after shifts, and ensuring everything is in working order and ready for use.

The role also involves frontline interaction with staff at the equipment store counter, data entry, and assisting with administrative tasks such as action reports and statistical summaries. You will communicate directly with Transit and Revenue Protection Officers via two-way radio, help regulate vehicle key access, and conduct police name checks as requested—ensuring all activity aligns with PTA confidentiality protocols. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented role suited to someone with strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to supporting frontline public transport security services.
