Broome Plumbing and Gas are looking for a Service & Office Administrator to join our growing team.
The Service & Office Administrator would be responsible for handling front office receptionist and administrative duties, including greeting guests, answering phones, handling company inquiries and performing general clerical and customer service work in support of the staff.
A customer-centric mindset is essential for this role.
The ideal candidate would be able to greet customers in a professional, warm, welcoming manner. Whilst showing strong organizational and communication skills throughout the administration tasks.
Summary of essential job functions
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and provide accurate information to callers or visitors.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring it reflects the company’s brand and values.
- Create a positive and memorable experience for clients and visitors by providing exceptional customer service.
- Serve as a central point of contact for internal and external communication, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments or individuals.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues or concerns raised by visitors or employees.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including data entry, document preparation, and maintaining records.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, arranging travel logistics, and coordinating meetings for executives or team members.
- Manage office supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance for the reception area.
Minimum Requirements
- General office and customer service experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word Outlook, and Excel.
- General knowledge of computer and office equipment.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Accurate spelling and solid verbal and written communication skills.
- POSITIVE ATTITUDE is a must.
