About the role

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. Your role will focus on building strong relationships, managing inbound inquiries, providing detailed quotations and processing of sales orders. You’ll be expected to handle multiple tasks efficiently while delivering top-tier service through phone, email, and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to incoming phone calls and emails from wholesale customers with professionalism and urgency

Process sales orders accurately and efficiently using our internal systems

Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers

Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions, upselling where possible

Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat clients and dealers

Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system

Handle customer issues or complaints quickly and effectively, escalating where needed

Support external sales staff with administrative tasks and follow-ups

Stay up to date with product knowledge and marine industry trends

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, ideally in a wholesale or distribution setting

Strong written and verbal communication skills – confident on the phone and professional via email

Excellent computer skills – able to navigate CRMs, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office with ease

Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

A positive, customer-first attitude with a team mindset

Marine industry or mechanical knowledge is highly advantageous but not essential
