We have two fixed term opportunities available – one ending in April 2026, and the other ending in June 2026.
Your Opportunity
You’ll contribute to Queensland’s transition to renewable energy by providing effective project and program support to our Energy & Infrastructure (E&I) team, contributing to the successful delivery or projects to time and budget. As our Project Administration Officer, your ability to deliver effective project administration support to leaders will be key to Energy Queensland’s continued success and growth.
Amplify your impact: based at either Newstead or Eagle Farm, you will:
- Document, update, and communicate project risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions by assisting in the collation of business, technical and project documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of regular project reporting for stakeholders, and will offer support to the Project/Construction Manager to provide relevant documentation and onboard and induct resources.
- Coordinate the organisational training requirements for various roles within the E&I team, including maintaining and monitoring documentation and performing skill gap analysis.
- Coordinate travel bookings and accommodation requirements for projects, and will support the project team with day to day administrative functions.
With either a 9 or 10 day fortnight in place, the bottom of the salary band starts from $95,634 for 9 days and $110,456 for 10 days + 14.75% superannuation.

What You’ll Bring
You will either have a Certificate III in Business Administration (or a related discipline) or will demonstrate equivalent relevant experience.
When it comes to your knowledge, skills, and experience, you have:
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in project management processes and methodologies, with the ability to deliver project administration support to leaders.
- Experience using the MS Office Suite and enterprise software packages related to project management.
- The ability to produce correspondence and documents to a high standard and format and maintain project related documentation such as infographics, charts, and presentations.
Whilst not essential, it would be highly advantageous to have experience support renewables/electrical infrastructure projects.
Thinking of your transferrable or soft skills, you have:
- A high level of written and verbal communication.
- The ability to maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and can deliver exceptional customer service.
- The capability to manage and prioritise work against conflicting deadlines, work autonomously when required, and can deal with confidential and urgent matters tactfully.
