At Collarts, students come first. We are proud to welcome a diverse range of learners to our VET and HE courses, and see difference as powerful. We are committed to making Collarts increasingly accessible, improving inclusion by partnering with students to understand their lived experience and change Collarts for the better. We want to provide students with practical and accessible IT support ensuring we set them up for success in their studies.

Join us in the newly created role of Applications and Integrations Analyst, and drive digital innovation at Collarts by building seamless integrations and automations that empower our students, staff, and creative community.

About us:

Collarts (and its predecessor Ausmusic) began more than 30 years ago with three programs, a handful of students and a small team of dedicated lecturers. Our foundation disciplines were music and audio – a proudly rock and roll start to life.

Operating as Collarts from 2010, today we teach more than 2,000 students from over 30 countries in 4 campuses and 50 high schools. We offer 24 degree programs, 5 vocational certificates and we’re ranked #1 for QILT student engagement for creative industry providers in Australia. We welcome international students from more than 30 countries and host exchange students from China, Germany, France and the USA.

We have some of the brightest minds in industry across all disciplines: ARIA award winners, renowned playwrights, actors and comedians, leading film and screen directors, DOLBY Atmos practitioners, recognised music producers and sound engineers, design and animation award winners, and some of the most experienced and respected event and entertainment academics in Australia.

In 2024 we launched a new Strategic Plan, Creativity on Purpose, with goals focused on reach, engagement, sustainability and quality. The plan represents an inflection point for Collarts, as we find new audiences, launch new online and postgraduate products and work towards University College status. It’s the perfect time to join the team: welcome to Australia’s best creative education community.

The role:

We are seeking an Applications and Integrations Analyst to join our collaborative team. In this pivotal role, you’ll design, develop, deploy, and maintain robust, sustainable integrations and automations between the systems and applications used at Collarts.

You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to support the educational needs of students and faculty—translating their requirements into application enhancements and data pipelines, and providing ongoing support, documentation, and improvements.

This role is key to ensuring a seamless, efficient, and innovative digital experience for our staff and students.

The role outcomes:

Enhanced Learning Experience: Develop new and maintain existing data pipelines & automations, which are reliable and support diverse learning and business applications, contributing to improved student engagement and satisfaction.

System Efficiency: Ensure applications operate efficiently with minimal downtime, providing consistent access to educational resources and tools for students and staff.

Innovation in Education Technology: Implement innovative solutions, automations and integrations that enhance the functionality of the LMS, Salesforce and associated applications, keeping Collarts at the forefront of educational technology.

Stakeholder Satisfaction: Collaborate with faculty, students, and administrative staff to gather feedback and continuously improve the data pipelines and applications to meet their evolving needs.

We are looking for someone who has:

Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or Information Technology

Extensive experience in Integrations development and management, and the associated supporting business analyst activities preferably in a higher education setting

Strong technical skills in application support & development and educational technologies

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrable ability to build and maintain relationships with students, faculty, and industry partners

Hands on experience with Student Management (e.g. Salesforce), Learning Management (Canvas), and other technologies (e.g. Tableau, SharePoint, Python, etc)

It's a bonus if you have:

Familiarity with various Educational Applications and integration tools

Experience carrying out business analyst activities for wide range of business needs

Experience in the transformation of data to support reporting and analytics

Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Contemporary knowledge of current trends in educational technology and digital learning
