We connect directly with a vast network of carriers — including Australia Post, StarTrack, FedEx, and more — through robust, scalable integrations. With more than 200 carrier connections already in place, our platform plays a critical role in simplifying freight operations for businesses nationwide.

Your Role

As the Carrier Integrations Lead, you’ll work directly with carrier partners and our internal development teams to scope, document, and deliver new and upgraded integrations. You’ll review carrier documentation, clarify requirements, and ensure that integrations are accurate, scalable, and supportable.

This role balances technical understanding with collaboration and communication — you’ll play a key part in ensuring we maintain high-quality, reliable integrations across a constantly growing carrier network.

You will:

Review and interpret technical specifications from carriers (e.g. APIs, file-based integrations, TMS documentation); collaborate with developers to scope, build, test and deliver new carrier integrations;

Support and triage integration issues between MachShip and external transport systems;

Create and maintain internal documentation for integrations and system behavior;

Act as the key liaison between MachShip, our carrier partners, and internal teams during integration projects.

With over 200 integrations live and more on the roadmap, you’ll be working in a fast-paced environment full of learning opportunities and technical variety.

What We're Looking For

We’re after someone who can bridge the gap between systems and people — someone who can confidently understand technical detail while driving collaboration between stakeholders.

You’ll need to have:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in a data and systems context

Excellent communication skills — able to explain technical topics clearly and collaborate across teams

Familiarity with data formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV

Experience working with APIs and integration tools such as Postman or Swagger

A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.

You’ll stand out if you also have:

Experience in SaaS, logistics, or freight systems

Experience working with TMS platforms or EDI/API-based integrations

Prior exposure to business analysis or technical scoping roles

A background in managing integration-related projects or leading technical delivery.
