About the role

LightHorse Kitchen, Moorebank sports is a modern brasserie specialising in modern Australian cuisine, open for lunch and dinner focused on using high-quality produce, changing the menu with the seasons and keeping up with new food trends. We are looking for a experienced Chef to join our professional kitchen staff of 11 and grow within the role! your working duties and responsibilities will include:

Input toward menu's

input towards chef specials

Train and supervise over 8 staff (for senior roll)

Enforce and follow all HACCP Rules

Ensuring all safe food practices are maintained

Produce innovative and delicious food experiences.

Skills and experience

Prior experience as a Chef in a comparable brasserie/restaurant

Proven experience leading kitchen staff of 5 - 10 (if applying for senior roll)

Passion for food!

Ability to motivate and work in a team.

A can do attitude.
