About the role

Warners Bay Hotel is seeking an experienced and talented Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As our new Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals for our customers in a fast-paced, high-quality hospitality environment. This is a full-time position based in Warners Bay, NSW 2282.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a wide variety of high-quality meals and dishes from our diverse menu

Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes

Effectively leading and motivating the kitchen team to deliver exceptional customer service

Ensuring efficient and streamlined kitchen operations, including inventory management and cost control

Actively contributing to a positive and productive work environment

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Chef in a similar hospitality environment

Excellent culinary skills and a passion for creating high-quality, creative dishes

Strong time management, problem-solving and multitasking abilities

A team-oriented approach and the ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards

Relevant qualifications in Hospitality or Commercial Cookery
