About the role

Diggers The Entrance is seeking a talented and passionate Qualified Chef - Full Time to join our kitchen team. As a full-time employee, you will play a pivotal role of the culinary team ensuring all food service areas deliver consistent food concepts whilst providing a strong focus on food safety, quality assurance and efficient service. We are looking for an experienced, motivated and ‘hands on’ chef who can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation

Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating feedback and new ideas

Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment

Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations

Mentor and train junior kitchen staff, sharing your expertise and knowledge

Collaborate with the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional customer service

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in commercial cooking or equivalent experience as a chef

Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in a fast-paced, high-quality restaurant/club environment

Exceptional cooking skills with a strong understanding of food preparation techniques and presentation

Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

Passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients and creating innovative dishes

Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills and the ability to thrive under pressure

Thorough knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
