Affiliate Studios is the in-house marketing team for Gartland and its sub-brands, as well as a full-service creative division that supports a growing list of external clients - particularly within the property and development space.

The role

This is a hands-on mid-weight to senior role supporting both Gartland (real estate agency) and Affiliate Studios (creative agency).

The successful candidate will work together with the Marketing and Content Team to deliver high-quality design across print and digital, with a strong focus on omni-channel consistency. You'll balance internal brand needs with external client campaigns, and be confident managing fast-paced, deadline-driven work. It requires the ability to think creatively not just as a designer, but with a broader marketing mindset.

This is a maternity leave contract position, 12-16 months. Flexible part-time hours, 30-38 per week. This role is based on-site at our Geelong CBD office.

Key responsibilities

Delivering multi-channel design across digital, print, web, email and social – including internal initiatives and external client campaigns.

Translating briefs into visually compelling, brand-aligned creative that connects with audiences and drives engagement.

Managing end-to-end creative delivery: briefing, concepting, design execution, feedback cycles, final art and supplier coordination.

Owning design output across a variety of content types - from fast-turnarounds to long-lead campaign rollouts.

Working with our marketing and client services teams to shape creative strategies and elevate outcomes.

Presenting work to clients in meetings, with confidence and professionalism.

Participate in brainstorming and creative planning sessions, bringing visual solutions to the table.

Staying ahead of trends and updates in relevant platforms, visual culture, tools and techniques - and bringing that insight into your work.

About you

You’re an experienced designer with a sharp eye, a strong sense of brand, and a hands-on approach. You understand that great creative is more than just beautiful - it’s strategic, impactful and built for performance across platforms.

You’ll bring

Appropriate design experience, relevant to the skill requirement (agency or in-house), supported by a tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or similar.

A folio that shows versatility across brand, digital, social, and campaign creative - with an eye for layout, typography and visual storytelling.

Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva, with confident setup for digital and print production.

A solid grasp of omni-channel content delivery and platform-specific best practices - especially across social and digital touchpoints.

The ability to translate strategy into smart, brand-aligned creative that connects with audiences and drives results.

Clear communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to present work and navigate feedback with internal teams and clients.

Excellent time management and organisational skills - capable of balancing fast-turnarounds along with long-lead projects.

A growth mindset, genuine curiosity for emerging tools and platforms, and a pulse on design and content trends.

Bonus points for

Familiarity with tools like BeeFree and Asana.

Experience in real estate or property development.

Photography or Videography experience/support.
