Peanut Productions is a creative event and production agency delivering brand experiences across conferences, roadshows, product launches, galas, awards, incentives and any other event type you can think of. We’re looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our Melbourne team and support the development of visually engaging, on-brand creative across a broad range of projects.
As the Junior Graphic Designer, you would work alongside a Senior Graphic Designer as well as an in-house production team.
This role is hands-on and fast-paced, with a strong focus on producing design work for live events; which will include registration site design, venue content and bespoke on-screen content right through to developing presentation decks and client proposals. You’ll also contribute to internal marketing initiatives, assisting with brand collateral and the execution of Peanut Production’s marketing plan.
Key Responsibilities:
With the support from the Senior Graphic Designer, design and deliver a wide range of assets to support live events, including signage, wayfinding, branded environments, media walls, digital content, in venue content, on screen content and printed collateral
Collaborate with the Senior Graphic Designer, in-house team, event producers and clients to bring creative ideas to life in pitch decks and presentations
Assist with internal marketing material such as capability statements, social assets and branded templates
Ensure all design work aligns with client brand guidelines and event objectives
Support production by preparing files for suppliers, printers and digital platforms
Help maintain a tidy and accessible archive of design assets and templates
Manage multiple projects to deadline in a high-volume environment
Skills & Experience:
1 to 3 years’ experience in a graphic design role, ideally within an agency or production environment
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Strong layout and typography skills, with high attention to detail
Experience designing for both print and digital outputs
Ability to interpret and work within brand guidelines
Comfortable working directly with clients, producers and third-party suppliers
Confident juggling multiple briefs with competing timelines
Hold a Design or Communication Diploma (at minimum) qualification
