Administration Assistant - Supporting NDIS Participants
About the role
We're looking for a compassionate and organised Administration Assistant to become part of our close-knit team at OCD Brilliance in The Vines, Western Australia. As a trusted NDIS service provider, this part-time role offers you the meaningful opportunity to directly contribute to improving the lives of NDIS participants while supporting our dedicated team's daily operations.
What you'll be doing
Providing comprehensive administrative support to our team who work directly with NDIS participants
Managing participant files, NDIS documentation, and sensitive data entry with care and confidentiality
Coordinating appointments and support sessions for our NDIS participants
Meeting with clients for consultations to understand their needs and support goals (comprehensive training will be provided)
Being the friendly first voice participants and their families hear when they call - answering and directing phone calls with empathy and professionalism
Maintaining participant records and ensuring compliance with NDIS requirements
Supporting our team in delivering seamless services that make a real difference in participants' lives
Contributing to streamlined processes that help us provide better support to the disability community
What we're looking for
Previous experience as an Administration Assistant, ideally with exposure to disability services or healthcare
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact sensitively with participants and their families
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and willingness to learn NDIS-specific software systems
Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail - essential when handling participant information
Ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment where participant needs come first
A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities and understanding of the NDIS framework
Discretion and respect for participant confidentiality and dignity
