Corporate Support:
Assist with enquiries internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate and order site stationery
Coordinate and organise internal and external meetings, interviews and training
Assist programs, by ordering supplies, food and collecting provisions
Prepare documentation and provide administrative support as directed
Assist in the preparation of functions and events
Maintain administrative systems, including the set up and maintenance of filing systems in MS teams
Maintain a site overview and be the initial point of contact for queries
Update social media as required
Update organisation website as required
Reception duties
Answer, screen and forward all telephone enquiries
Greet clients and staff
Maintain phone lists
Sort and direct email enquiries
Accounting Support
Assist with invoice processing
Receipt donations and monies from members and consumers
Credit card reconciliation and reimbursements
Selection criteria
Essential
Administration qualifications in Business Administration and/or experience in a similar role
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Intermediate to advanced computer skills in common use Microsoft applications,
Ability to defuse challenging situations with a wide range of clients and stakeholders
Ability to organise own workload and prioritise/complete tasks in a timely manner
Attention to detail and proactive
Able to work independently and in team environment
Working with Childrens check required
Desirable
Aboriginality is desirable for this position under section 50d of the Equal Opportunities Act 1984.
Experience in communicating and working constructively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Understanding of the health, social and emotional wellbeing needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Competency in the use and application of a range of computer systems and applications such as Microsoft Office.
Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Experience in project administration/event, coordination and planning.
Practical
A current drivers licence “C” or ”C.A” class drivers licence and willingness to drive is essential.
Occasional work out of normal hours of duty may be required.
Important Information:
This role is part time (30 hrs per week, Mon - Fri, 8:30am - 3:30pm)
SCHCDSI Award level 2 ($33.41 - $35.51 per hour)
All staff who are employed by Wadjak Northside are required to have a WWCC and a NPC (within 3 months validity).
