About the role

Maitland Skin Cancer Clinic is seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our medical practice. What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients in a warm and courteous manner

Scheduling appointments and managing patient bookings

Handling patient inquiries and providing information about our services

Assisting with the registration and check-in process for patients

Performing general administrative duties, such as filing, photocopying and data entry

Maintaining a clean and organised reception area

Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive patient experience

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a customer service role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Proficient in the use of medical practice management software Best Practice.

A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
