About the role

Mohs Surgery & Dermatology is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing patient enquiries, and supporting the smooth running of our busy medical practice. This is a part time position based in our Potts Point, NSW location.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner

Scheduling appointments and managing the practice's appointment calendar

Handling patient enquiries and providing information about services, policies, and procedures

Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality of medical information

Performing administrative tasks such as answering enquiries via phone, emails, scanning correspondence, various data entry, and supporting all administration tasks and enquiries.

Liaising with other healthcare providers and external organisations as per administartion role requires.

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a medical receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting

Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, clinicians, and other staff members

Proficient in IT skills and using medical practice Genie and Xestro management software is desirable.

Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and patient confidentiality

Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and workflows as per practice or clinic needs.
