About the role

We are seeking a friendly and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at Northwest Cardiology in Epping, VIC. This is casual position (Monday - Friday).

Job requies travel to Sunbury every other Wednesday.

As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our patients and supporting the smooth running of our medical practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.

Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling patient enquiries.

Assisting with administrative tasks such as billing, insurance claims and maintaining an organised office environment .

Providing support to the medical team as needed, including preparing consulting rooms and ensuring supplies are well-stocked.

Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and data protection at all times.

What we're looking for

Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service role within the healthcare industry is required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, medical staff, and other stakeholders in a professional and empathetic manner.

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.

Proficient in using medical software and office equipment, with a good understanding of medical terminology.
