Casey Medical Centre is seeking a dedicated and skilled Casual Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team, working across both our modern practice locations in Clyde and Cranbourne.

About the role

As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our patients and supporting the day-to-day operations of our medical centre.

Key Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors in a warm, professional, and courteous manner

Schedule and coordinate patient appointments efficiently

Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information about clinic services

Maintain and update patient records with attention to detail and confidentiality

Assist with general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and inventory management

Ensure the smooth running of the reception area and contribute to overall clinic efficiency

Deliver exceptional customer service and uphold a patient-focused approach

About You

We are looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, and passionate about patient care. The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar healthcare setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with patients and clinical staff

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities

Proficiency in medical software and general computer systems

Familiarity with Best Practice software (advantageous)

Understanding of Medicare item numbers and billing procedures

A warm, friendly, and professional demeanour
