About the role

Koo Wee Rup Medical Centre is seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis. This is a customer-facing role responsible for providing excellent patient care and supporting the smooth running of our medical practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients to the medical centre in a warm and courteous manner

Scheduling and managing patient appointments, including making reminder calls

Handling patient inquiries and providing information about our services and procedures

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical files

Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry

Working collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient experience

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a medical reception or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a warm and professional manner

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and data

Proficient in using computer systems and various software applications

A friendly, helpful, and empathetic approach to patient care

The ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
