Machine Finance is a specialist boutique finance brokerage working closely with business owners across earthmoving, mining, transport, manufacturing, and other heavy industries.

We provide a high level of service to our clients by managing their complex finance needs with efficiency and skill.

We’re looking for a Documentation & Settlements Officer to join our tight-knit team and support the end-to-end execution of finance applications.

Day to day, you’ll work closely with the firm’s director and operations manager, who bring over 30 years of combined experience in equipment finance. You’ll be joining a highly capable, well-organised team that consistently settles above-industry-average loan volumes with a trusted and friendly repeat client base you can build great relationships with.

The ideal applicant will bring strong experience and be ready to integrate quickly into the role, taking full ownership of documentation and settlements aspects of the firm.

What You’ll Be Doing

Preparing finance documentation for lenders and clients

Reviewing and checking signed documents for compliance

Liaising with funders, clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders to coordinate settlements

Managing settlement checklists and keeping all parties informed

Following up on missing items and ensuring all conditions are met for funding

Maintaining accurate records and internal systems throughout the process

What We’re Looking For

Strong experience in asset finance, banking, settlements or broker support

Strong attention to detail - you’ll be the final check on each transaction

Clear communicator who can manage expectations and follow up confidently

Able to juggle multiple deals and work to tight timeframes

A natural organiser who’s calm under pressure and loves ticking boxes
