The Role

The National Partnerships Branch is looking to fill multiple roles located in Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth within the Partnership State Offices, National Partnerships Program Office, Strategy Unit and ASD’s Cyber Security Services.

  • Partnership State Offices are responsible for building and maintaining strong trusted relationships with industry and government.
  • National Partnership Program Office is responsible for the overall coordination of the cyber security partnership program, project management and data analytics.
  • National Partnership’s Strategy Unit is responsible for shaping and informing how ASD engages with priority industry partners, including those relationships managed by ASD senior executives.
  • ASD’s Cyber Security Services is responsible for Network Partner service delivery and engagement activities for key cyber defensive services.

Your role will include supporting the delivery of national events and engagements with external partners, assisting with high-profile, fast-paced policy and program work, in addition to secretariat support. It may also include data analysis to support service delivery and engagement activities, progressing information and legal artefacts. Responding to Partner queries for ASD advice, products and service offerings is an essential function of this position.

Enhancing ASD’s cyber security partnerships and industry engagements is an ASD strategic priority and a key area of focus for REDSPICE. This is an exciting opportunity for all applicants to be a part of a multi-disciplinary team and assist ASD’s cyber security partnership priorities.

About our Team

National Partnerships connects Australian Government, industry, education and research institutions to ASD; aligning partners with the best ASD services and programs. Working in the branch, you will help develop and deliver effective, efficient and nationally consistent engagement programs. National Partnerships staff support ASD cyber security partners to help uplift collective cyber security awareness and resilience, enhancing cyber intelligence sharing. You will apply your skills and experience to help ensure that ASD products and services are communicated, delivered and utilised effectively, to uplift cyber security across Australia.

ASD 6 Engagement & Partnership Officers

  • Commit to adhering quality outcomes and adheres to documentation procedures.
  • Seek feedback from supervisor to gauge satisfaction.
  • Remain positive and respond to pressure in a calm manner.
  • Understand and supports the Organisation’s vision, mission and business objectives.
  • Think strategically and understands the work environment.
  • Demonstrate commitment to self-development and seeks opportunities to extend skill and knowledge, including management, leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Have an ability to handle highly sensitive information in accordance with applicable policy and security requirements.
