What you'll be doing
Identifying and pursuing new sales leads through prospecting, networking, and cold calling
Building and maintaining strong relationships with potential clients
Preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations to generate new business
Negotiating and closing deals to meet or exceed sales targets
Collaborating with the wider team to develop and execute effective sales strategies
Providing regular updates on sales activities and pipeline to management
What we're looking for
Proven track record of success at least 5 years in new business development within the sales and freight industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively negotiate with clients
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience
