Our rapidly expanding Sunshine Coast Architectural metalwork business is looking for a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive ambitious growth of the business units and expand our project pipeline

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a business development specialist you will be at the forefront of driving the company’s growth and success. In this role you will uncover new market opportunities, forge valuable strategic partnerships and craft innovative sales strategies.

This is the ideal role for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally, thrives on variety, and wants to grow within the construction and manufacturing industry.

This role will be office based with the potential for flexible hours for the right candidate.

- Innovative pipeline of products to enable business growth

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:

- Proven Business development and client engagement experience in the construction industry

- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using our CRM system, ensuring client data is maintained regularly

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through platforms such as Cordell and BCI

- Manage multiple quotes and project deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Development and implementation of new customer acquisition strategy

- Excellent communication and influencing skills

- High attention to detail with solutions focused approach

- Highly motivated team member with the ability to establish a network of new clients

- Lead the delivery of monthly sales budget

- Lead Business Development planning for priority projects, including research and analysis to inform client engagement and tender strategy

- Work in collaboration with other team members to ensure quality delivery across all business units.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Driver’s licence

- Construction Sales Experience

- Quoting and Estimating experience will be highly regarded

- Right to work in Australia
